Description:

Millions of Americans are currently out of work and millions more are worried about losing their jobs. Consumers everywhere are looking for ways to retool, develop new career skills, and earn additional income. The theme of this year's Financial Fitness for Life Training Conference is "Taking Charge of Your Career in Today's Economy." The conference will showcase economic and financial education lessons from the newly-revised Financial Fitness for Life (FFFL) and newly-released Teaching Financial Crises (TFC) curricula. The lessons will focus specifically on employment and career issues. Guest speakers from industry, government, and education will discuss current employment conditions and the challenges and opportunities facing Illinois. Conference participants will receive *FREE* the FFFL and TFC curricula, along with other hands-on activities and resources to take back to their students and clients.
