Financial Fitness for Life Rollout Conference

Description:

The national Council for Economic Education is getting ready to release its newly revised Financial Fitness for Life curriculum. Be the first to receive a *FREE* copy of the curriculum materials at this statewide rollout conference. The theme of the conference will focus on helping educators teach youth and limited-resource clients how to establish, use, and protect their credit. Topics will include debt management, credit reporting, identity theft, predatory lending, and other credit protection issues. Cate Williams, Vice President of Financial Literacy for Money Management International, will discuss recent developments in the credit industry and implications for consumers who are struggling to repay their debts. Bill Strauss, Senior Economist and Economic Advisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, will discuss the economic outlook for consumers in the coming year. All conference participants will receive the newly revised Financial Fitness for Life curriculum materials, along with numerous hands-on activities and resources to take back to their students and clients.
